The Milan and Dummer Ambulance is proud to have been awarded a grant by the Gary Sinise Foundation as part of their First Responder grant program.

Thanks to this grant program the Milan and Dummer ambulance was able to place into service cutting edge lifesaving equipment at no cost to our tax payers.

Life Saving Equipment

The grant from the Gary Sinise Foundation allowed for the purchase of a Mechanical CPR Device (pictured left) which performs flawless CPR without getting tired. It also funded the purchase of a StatPack medical bag to allow our personnel to bring critical supplies to our patients including those out in the woods (pictured middle). Last but not least the grant also funded the purchase of new batteries for our power stretcher. This device allows us to more easily lift patients without our crews risking injury to their backs.
