About Milan & Dummer Ambulance
History & Mission
Founded in 1972 by local members of the community, the Milan & Dummer Ambulance originally provided emergency medical services to the towns of Milan, Dummer, Berlin and Gorham with a single ambulance. In subsequent years, Berlin and Gorham split off from the agency and established their own services.
Today the Milan & Dummer Ambulance is a leader in Emergency Medical Services in Coos county by providing 911 Emergency Medical Services, Event Standby Services, Paramedic Intercept Services, and Advanced Life Support Interfacility Transport Services to bring patients to definitive care and out-of-area trauma centers.

Alex Fuchs
Chief of Agency | Advanced EMT
Supervises day-to-day operations with nearly 20 years of EMS experience. Holds a Master of Science from SNHU and a Bachelor of Science from Champlain College.
Roger Boissonneau
Assistant Chief | EMT
Over 12 years of EMS experience. Serves as driving instructor, field training officer, run report quality assurance officer, and radio communications head.
Coverage Area
We provide 911 Emergency Medical Services directly to the municipalities of Milan and Dummer, New Hampshire, covering over 100+ square miles. Through our membership in the NORPAC Mutual Aid district, we provide secondary mutual aid coverage to over 1,000 square miles of Coos County.
We also provide emergent and non-emergent interfacility transfer services to Androscoggin Valley Hospital, Weeks Medical Center, Upper Connecticut Valley Hospital, and MaineHealth Memorial Hospital.
